Inside the apiaries of H. Reynaud & Fils: a promising harvest that supports biodiversity
At H. Reynaud & Fils, our commitment to the environment is also reflected in very practical actions. This summer, our beehives were once again at the heart of a lovely moment of togetherness, as we harvested their honey.
“A journey into the heart of the hive.”
Accompanied by Paul and Francine from the Apiflordev association, we were able to observe our bees’ activities at close quarters and gain a better understanding of the colony’s fascinating organisation.
One of the highlights of this visit was meeting the queen of one of our hives, easily recognisable by the small green mark on her back.
This year, the harvest is expected to yield around 40 kg of honey. Once filtered and packaged, the first jars will be available in early September.

Protecting bees, even through small actions
In hot weather, access to water is also essential for our bees. To enable them to drink safely, we collect corks and place them in their water sources so that they can land there without the risk of drowning.
A simple gesture that, in its own small way, helps to protect them.
Indispensable allies to our ecosystem
Far beyond honey production, bees play a vital role in pollinating plants and maintaining biodiversity. Their conservation is therefore a collective challenge to which everyone can contribute.
Hosting beehives, raising awareness and preserving biodiversity: these are all small actions that give meaning to our environmental approach.
